I am reading this book right now, and all I can think of is:

Wow.
They have really turned the husband and the idea of the family into idols.  Shocked
It's incredable how high they put the husband on a pedestal. It's like the whole family's world revolves around him.  nonod

And what's worse, is that they took a mandate of not upsetting Roman family structures (wife submitting so hubby can be won over to God) into one that binds and constricts.
