Christ in me!

christianaudio.com

click on the free audio book of the month...."Religion Saves"

It's talking about 9 questions his church asked him... a chapter for each.  First one is about the question of how many children should a family have and what forms of birth control are acceptable.  So far, not bad.  Although he thinks postponing contraception is acceptable in many circumstances, he does seem to think that a couple NOT choosing to have children ever, is going outside of God's accepted will.

Lots of information that I'm surprised he gives.  However, it does seem a tad bit pope-ish that he feels he can decide what is acceptable for everyone else.  Nevertheless, I'm impress so far with his stands against legalism.

Driscoll is confusing. I think some find, if they follow him long enough, he is not consistent.

The one time I went and checked out what big D was saying, I noted that he said a lot of very good things.

But I also noted that within the many very good things he said was enough error and mockery of those who disagree with him to make me squeamish.

I used to have a pastor like him, except this pastor was egal. That didn't stop him from being controlling.

Anyway, the difference between my old pastor and big D is that D is smarter, better-looking, more charismatic, and has much farther reaching influence than my old pastor. Which makes big D much scarier.  yikes
