All members are expected to be familiar with the rules that follow.  Members should post in such a way as to honor God and respect others. Please keep in mind the basic policies you agreed to as a condition of registering:

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

In addition, for the enjoyment and edification of everyone, please keep these rules in mind:

1. No name-calling, personal attacks, or remarks disrespectful to other forum members are allowed. Diversity of beliefs and disagreement on issues or doctrines is expected and affirmed, but please find ways to disagree without becoming disagreeable. Non-Christians are welcome to post here, but please respect believers by being respectful when talking about God. In other words, no blasphemy. If you can't do that, you probably shouldn't talk about God here.

2. Keep posts on-topic within reason.  Do your best to make your posts easily readable. In this way you will insure that a majority of readers will want to read your entire post, so that you will be fully heard and encourage participation from others.

3. Please follow good Internet etiquette by posting in standard English, paying attention to spelling and grammar, and avoiding excessively large fonts, messages in all-capital letters (denotes shouting), or hard-to-read colors. We recognize that some people may have physical conditions such as dyslexia which may make it difficult to adhere to these standards -- if this is a difficulty for you, please let the moderators know.

4. If you are having a conflict with another member, please try to work it out first with that person through private messages. If the conflict cannot be resolved, please send a private message to a moderator to assist you.

5.  We encourage you to discuss issues that concern you, or events from your past, in ways that bring relief and healing, and affirm yourself and others.  However, all persons should be aware that this is not a place to seek or give professional counseling.

If you break a rule, you will probably be warned by a moderator and the offending post may be edited or deleted. Further infractions may lead to a ban from the site. When the moderators deem it appropriate, they may edit or delete posts, lock threads, and warn, caution or ban members, even in response to something that doesn't explicitly break one of the above rules. If you have a question or complaint about a moderator action, discuss it privately with the moderator by sending them a PM or email, or failing that, raise your concerns with another moderator.

We appreciate your decision to become a member of this forum and hope that your time spent here will be pleasant and uplifting.
